The Malaika School

In late 2007, Reverend Abdiel Ndosi of the Meru Diocese approached Brick by Brick for Tanzania!, Inc. with a proposal to build a preschool in Usa River, Tanzania. Brick by Brick agreed to take on the project and sought US donors to partner in fundraising. Fox Point Lutheran Church, Fox Point, WI graciously came on board and have raised $7,000 for the preschool to date, with an additoinal $878 being raised by the local Tanzanian community and additional moneys being collected by the 7th & 8th graders of the Kewaskum Middle School, Kewaskum, WI. A benefit concert featuring Susan Cowsill, Russ Broussard, Sonia Tetlow, and Mary Lasseigne raised the remainder of the funds.

The dedication was held on August 24th, 2008 with members of the Fox Point in attendance. Dedication photos are taken by various members of Fox Point. Thanks, everyone!
